Amphora Damask

Orignially inspired by a French 'lace bizarre' brocade of 1700, the design has been given a flecked effect to create the illusiion of a Florentine  silk velvet, with light falling on it in a dappled naturally uneven way.The pattern has spawned numerous imitations.
